As a Security Officer Full Time Roving Patrol in New Brunswick, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property, including lobbies, hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe activity at the location, and document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance or service-related issues in accordance with site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
