Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.38 / Hour Job Schedule Thursday, 08:00 PM – 07:00 AM Friday, 08:00 PM – 07:00 AM Saturday, 08:00 PM – 07:00 AM Sunday, 08:00 PM – 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patients, staff, and guests. Assist with security‑related reporting, incident follow‑up, and/or requests for assistance while maintaining professionalism and customer service in a healthcare setting. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
