Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Salary: $136,850 - 185,150 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or an equivalent credential.
• We are looking for 6+ years of experience working with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, or DevOps teams.
• We need 5+ years of experience automating the provisioning and configuration of software-defined infrastructure, with a focus on continuous deployment and continuous operations.
• We seek 3+ years of experience with automation and CI/CD techniques and design patterns.
• We require 3+ years of experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD environments.
• We need 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, plus container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• We prefer a bachelor of science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, along with 9+ years of related experience, or a bachelors degree with 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of relevant experience.
• We prefer 7+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
• We value experience with cloud platforms and Agile software development practices.
• We value knowledge of DevSecOps industry standards and best practices.
• We value familiarity with cybersecurity policies and regulations and the ability to help develop solutions across those areas.
• We value experience supporting secure software development environments at different security levels.
• We value experience with Linux.
• We prefer candidates who can obtain Security+ certification.
• We require the ability to meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person.
• We require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, with an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance after start.

• We lead the roadmap and long-term vision for the software development environment.
• We deploy and configure development technologies and tools, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• We establish, configure, and maintain Mission Systems software development environments across multiple networks.
• We manage and maintain both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
• We create and maintain infrastructure as code and automation to streamline infrastructure administration and software delivery.
• We build and support development and production environments.
• We enforce compliance and applicable policy requirements for design practices and industry standards.
• We define best practices for provisioning, scaling, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• We administer, maintain, upgrade, patch, and integrate software development tools such as Jira, GitLab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube.
• We mentor junior teammates and development teams, sharing DevSecOps expertise and encouraging continuous learning.
• We coordinate closely with the Mission Systems solution team, the Digital Engineering Environment team, and the Boeing Software Factory Enterprise team.
• We complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process.
