HR Assistant

IMMEDIATE opening for an HR Assistant to provide administrative support to the HR department by managing employee records, assisting with payroll and serving as a primary point of contact for routine inquiries.

· Collect new-hire paperwork during onboarding, process I-9 documentation, and assist with welcoming and orienting new employees; assist in the offboarding process.

· Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital personnel files and track attendance, PTO, and leave requests.

· Collect time and attendance data for payroll processing and answer routine employee questions regarding benefit plans.

· Serve as a helpful liaison between employees and HR management, resolving basic inquiries or routing complex issues to specialists.

· Support labor law compliance and help organize documentation for internal or external audits.

Qualifications :

· Minimum high school diploma; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

· 2+ years of relevant work experience

· Strong organizational skills, time management, and meticulous attention to detail

· Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and HRIS or ATS

· Strict commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive employee and company data.

· Clear verbal and written interpersonal skills

· Dependable, strong attendance
