Patient Services Representative – Dental

Location: (Insert Location) | Full-Time

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to support our dental operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring a smooth patient experience by managing scheduling, registration, and insurance-related processes while serving as a key liaison between patients and dental providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete patient registration by collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information
  • Determine appropriate fees and collect patient payments accurately
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments and manage incoming referrals
  • Verify dental codes and insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing
  • Serve as a liaison between dental students/providers and patients , ensuring clear communication and coordination
  • Provide appointment reminders and follow-up communications
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Prepare and reconcile daily payments, including handling deposits
  • Support front office operations with a strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or dental setting (dental experience strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of third-party reimbursement and insurance processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, and data entry skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
