Role Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans that cater to individualized short-term and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions focusing on language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing processes.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and caregivers to design comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education for patients and families to support progress beyond clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout each patient's journey.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation adhering to state and federal regulations as well as organizational policies.
• Stay informed and engaged with advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaborative peer interactions.

Education Requirements

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment.
