Job Summary

Alpha Management Services, Inc is seeking compassionate and reliable Paraprofessionals / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide Community Living and Supports (CLS) services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This role focuses on supporting individuals in the home and community to build independence, improve daily living skills, and enhance overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• ·        Provide 1:1 support in community settings 
  ·        Assist individuals with participating in community-based activities (e.g., volunteering, recreation, classes, events) 
  ·        Promote social interaction and relationship-building with peers and community members 
  ·        Support development of communication and interpersonal skills 
  ·        Encourage participation in integrated settings with non-disabled peers 
  ·        Assist with transportation and navigation in the community as needed 
  ·        Implement goals outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP) 
  ·        Provide prompting, modeling, and coaching to increase independence 
  ·        Monitor for health, safety, and behavioral concerns 
  ·        Complete accurate and timely documentation (service notes) 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for position) 
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening 
• CPR/FA and NCI (on-site training available)
