Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our premier team at Premier Genesee, a 160-bed facility located in Batavia, New York. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art facility, providing a comfortable and safe environment for our residents and staff. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring minimal disruption to our operations Assist with the installation and repair of equipment and fixtures, including but not limited to doors, windows, and appliances Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to optimize our facilities and services Maintenance Technician Requirements: Prior experience in a maintenance or facilities role preferred Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr
