This contract, full-time position involves providing both push-in and pull-out services at a manageable caseload of approximately 30–35 students with IEPs, thanks to strategic scheduling and thoughtful student grouping.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Certification
• Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Proven experience writing IEPs and managing caseloads
• Previous experience as a SPED Director
• Highly organized self-starter; brings professionalism and strong communication skills
• Adept at building supportive relationships within a collaborative school culture

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to K–8 students in a resource setting
• Write, monitor, and report on IEP goals and student progress
• Lead annual IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families regarding student achievement
• Oversee compliance and serve as the school’s SPED Director, supporting and guiding fellow professionals
• Assist in evaluating incoming students for special education eligibility
• Maintain thorough records and reporting as required
