Mammography Technologist

Role Mammography Technologist responsible for performing mammography procedures in accordance with standards, policies, and regulations. Key Duties Review patient history, schedule appointments, educate patients, and administer contrast media or medications as needed. Assist physicians with interventional procedures such as fine needle aspiration and needle localization. Prepare equipment, select imaging parameters, ensure safety, perform quality control, and troubleshoot equipment issues. Position patients, perform imaging, analyze results, and ensure image quality, taking corrective actions when necessary. Report scan results accurately and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by ARRT, or ARRT‑R with provisional registration and ARRT‑M within 12 months. Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
