Global Health Project Coordinator (Bilingual)

Job Type: This is a primarily remote position that may be performed from Maryland, Pennsylvania, or Delaware. Candidates must reside in one of these states by their employment start date and must be within commutable distance of the GSSHealth Baltimore office. We partner with governments and international organizations to deliver technical assistance, training, quality improvement, monitoring and evaluation, and strategic program support that strengthens health systems and improves health outcomes worldwide.Position Summary: GSSHealth is seeking a bilingual French-English Global Health Project Coordinator to coordinate the administrative, logistical, and stakeholder-engagement activities of international public-health projects, including Project ECHO sessions and virtual communities of practice. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Coordinator will facilitate bilingual meetings, maintain project schedules and action trackers, coordinate training and international travel, support reporting and contribute to deliverable tracking activities. This position plays an important role in strengthening military, civilian and public health systems by supporting international partnerships, knowledge sharing, and sustainable capacity building in resourcelimited settings.Compensation and Benefits: The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $87,000 annually, based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Benefits include option to join company health benefit plan, dental and vision coverage, generous paid time off, and retirement plan with employer 3% match.Essential Responsibilities:The employee must be able to perform these essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Provide program administrative support to the Senior Project Manager and other team members in planning, initiation and execution of global health projects.Participate in project meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.Coordinate logistics and timelines for online and in-country workshops, activities, and other program initiatives.Track progress made against Gantt charts and pre-defined deliverables.Develop summaries of project achievements and draft and contribute to funder reports, as needed.Provide logistical support for travel and the procurement process for equipment and other commodities.Coordinate Project ECHO and other virtual learning activities, including scheduling sessions, communicating with presenters and participants, preparing bilingual materials, tracking attendance and action items, and maintaining program records.Facilitate routine meetings and communications in French and English and, as needed, provide non-certified translation of routine project materials.Communicate and coordinate with francophone stakeholders.Perform other duties as assigned, including contributing to program newsletters and the GSSHealth website.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in public health, international development, project management, business administration, communications, education, science, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.Professional fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is required;Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in project coordination, program administration, or a related role, preferably supporting global health, public health, international development, or federally funded programs.Familiarity with HIV programs, clinical terminology, or global health programming is preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom or Microsoft Teams).Experience coordinating virtual meetings, webinars, or training; maintaining project schedules and deliverable files.Ability to coordinate across international time zones and multicultural teams.Familiarity with Project ECHO or other virtual learning models is preferred.Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 10%, including travel to resourcelimited settings.Equal Employment Opportunity: GSSHealth is an equal opportunity employer.
