Role Description The Director of Sales and Business Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Pierce County, Washington. This role is responsible for leading and executing sales and growth strategies to expand hospice services within the region, including identifying new referral sources, cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals, and strengthening existing partnerships. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing sales operations, developing and monitoring performance metrics, guiding the sales team, and ensuring alignment with Bristol Hospice's mission and service standards. The director will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to create market plans, coordinate community outreach, and support education efforts that promote hospice awareness. This position also involves forecasting, reporting on business results, and continuously refining strategies to achieve sustainable growth while maintaining high-quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Operations, including developing and executing regional sales plans and managing pipelines. Strong Business Development capabilities, with experience building strategic partnerships and expanding market presence in healthcare or related fields. Background in Customer Service, with a focus on fostering long-term relationships with referral sources, families, and community partners. Proven Team Management skills, including leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales or outreach teams. Relevant experience in hospice, home health, healthcare services, or a closely related industry is highly beneficial. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the organization professionally in diverse settings. Strong analytical and organizational abilities, including proficiency in CRM tools and reporting on sales performance and market trends.
