Assembly Technician I

Job Title: Assembly Technician I Department: Assembly Reporting to: Production Supervisor Shift: 1st (6am-3pm) Assembly Technician 1 is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical switchboard and related equipment according to engineering specifications and quality standards. This role involves reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics, using hand and power tools, and ensuring proper component installation. The assembler must follow safety procedures, maintain an organized workspace, and collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Assemble switchboard components, including circuit breakers, bus bars, and control panels. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Wire electrical components according to specifications. Perform quality checks and testing to ensure functionality and compliance. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete assigned job duties within goal hours. Follow additional written and verbal instructions as necessary.
