The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.Locations: 725 American Ave., Waukesha, WI, 531881185 Corporate Center Drive Suite 350 Oconomowoc, WI 53066240 Maple Ave Mukwonago, WI 53149Primary Responsibilities:Greets patients as they arrive and manages wait timeComplete check-in and check-out tasks to include insurance verification, complete pre-authorizations and/or precertification of procedures, and copy required documentsCollects co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles and issues receiptsManages cashier box and daily deposits according to company policiesProcesses walk-in patients and visitorsAnswers phones and schedules appointments and proceduresManages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etcEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the publicPerforms all other related duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
