Collision Center Parts Employee We are seeking a dependable and detail‑oriented Parts Employee to join our Collision Center team. This role ensures smooth parts operations and excellent service to internal staff and external vendors. Compensation and Benefits Competitive Pay: $21 to $24.50 per hour, depending on experience. Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): New full‑time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time. Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, and a 401(k) plan. Eligibility begins the first month after 60 days of employment. Paid Holidays: At least 5 paid holidays per year, subject to eligibility and completion of the introductory period. Responsibilities Assist the shop in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers. Receive parts in the body shop’s indoor parts department. Verify that all parts have arrived and are accounted for on the shipping invoice. Record the arrival on the invoice. Notify the estimator when special‑ordered parts have been received. Check packaging and parts for physical damage. Update production notes and repair plans to keep vehicles moving efficiently. Relocate parts to parts carts or storage bins. Identify the correct part for the replacement. Move rolling parts cart to various locations in the indoor facility. Monitor parts inventory using an iPhone or laptop. Break down cardboard boxes for recycling. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. 1–2 years of experience in an automotive or heavy‑equipment parts department (preferred). Excellent communication and time‑management skills. Some sales experience. Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems. Familiarity with CCC. Professional personal appearance. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours a day.
