Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Dayton, OH | Schedule: Full-time, on-site | Compensation: Annual bonus potential Overview A profitable, leading manufacturer with a diverse business mix is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to modernize and elevate its recruitment function for hourly and salary staff. This high-visibility leadership role reports to a VP of HR and supervises one staff recruiter, with the opportunity to overhaul hiring processes and make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What you'll do Champion the salary and hourly recruitment strategy to fill positions in a timely manner Develop internship and apprenticeship programs Promote community involvement and awareness as a premier employer Lead the salary recruitment process and supervise hourly recruitment efforts Utilize current and develop future recruitment tools Develop standardized interview and onboarding processes Manage open requisitions and update management on the status of unfilled positions Work with hiring teams on interviewing compliance Foster external relationships to support recruitment efforts Lead college and community job fair programs Continuously improve talent acquisition programs Utilize the current HRIS system and work to improve functionality Manage the recruitment budget Manage any current contingent service provider relationships Coach hiring managers on behavioral-based interviewing and candidate selection best practices Audit, optimize, and modernize current recruitment workflows Other duties as directed by management Required qualifications Bachelor's degree highly preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of a degree At least 5 years of similar manufacturing talent acquisition management experience Experience leading and creating recruitment efforts for hourly and salary team members Experience recruiting technical roles, such as engineering, skilled trades, etc. Experience improving successful recruitment strategies A proven leadership background, ideally overseeing others HRIS system experience Microsoft Office proficiency Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction; this is not an entry level position Preferred qualifications Experience recruiting for skilled trades Experience developing recruitment programs from the beginning Local to the Dayton, OH area (no relocation package offered) Compensation and benefits Three-tier competitive medical benefit package (including dental and vision) available on the 31st day of employment 401K match (50% up to 4%) Paid holidays and vacation Tuition reimbursement Life insurance Annual bonus potential Why this role This is a leadership role offering the chance to take immediate ownership of the department, champion improvement of KPIs and processes, and work in a diverse business mix with excellent work/life balance, including a dedicated private office and very rare weekend work. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
