Do you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment? Are you obsessed with food quality, execution, and leading a team to culinary success? Wings Over Fate  is seeking a dedicated, organized, and high-energy Kitchen Manager to oversee our back-of-house operations.

As the Kitchen Manager, you will own the kitchen. You will ensure every order of wings, sides, and sauces goes out perfectly, safely, and fast. You will be responsible for training kitchen staff, managing inventory, maintaining strict cleanliness standards, and working side-by-side with your crew on the line.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Lead BOH Operations: Oversee the daily preparation and execution of all menu items. Ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets ticket-time goals during peak rushes.
• Train & Mentor: Recruit, train, and schedule line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers. Foster a culture of teamwork, speed, and accountability.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Manage food inventory, place weekly orders, and track food waste to maintain strong food cost margins.
• Safety & Sanitation: Enforce strict health, safety, and sanitation standards. Keep all kitchen equipment clean, maintained, and in proper working order.
• Quality Control: Ensure all food items are prepared according to standard recipes, presentation guidelines, and portion controls.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Experience: 2+ years of kitchen management or shift lead experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Experience with fry stations and high-volume chicken concepts is a major plus.
• Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse kitchen crew under pressure.
• Organization: Excellent skills in inventory management, ordering, and line station organization.
• Certifications: Valid ServSafe Manager certification
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
• Availability: Flexibility to work a restaurant schedule, including nights, weekends, and peak holiday periods.
