For more information about the company visit Who You Are: In this critical role, your job will be to serve as a bridge between Sales, Product Development, and Operations. Your ultimate goals will be to partner with our Sales Team to drive world class product and service demonstrations that align with the business needs of our customers to drive sales productivity and closing ratio. You will also serve as a liaison between our Sales, Technology & Operational leadership teams, tasked with scoping and specifying the right solutions for the customer to ensure we are able to deliver customized technical specifications and ensure we meet the business needs of our client during their Implementation Stage. The Solutions Consultant must have a strong desire to leverage their technical sales skills to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, and effectively demonstrate solutions that address the customer’s business needs in the sales process. You will partner with Sales on each opportunity and take the lead on architecting a winning strategy which differentiates ExtensisHR and demonstrates our ROI to our customers at the executive level, while also ensuring our clients experience a seamless transition to our platform post-sales. What You'll Do: Serve as the primary resource for our Sales team by understanding the prospect’s business needs and facilitate compelling customer product and service demonstrations Participate in essential presale processes with our Sales team Secure input from all necessary stakeholders within the customer’s firm Resolve technical objections or obstacles to secure customer commitments needed to ensure the technical close - establish and build trust with our customers’ decision makers Business Problem Solving: Take ambiguous and complex business problems and leverage your business assessment capabilities: define the problem, drive innovative ideas, and recommend actionable solutions to address customer needs Help customers understand what they are buying and what problems they are looking to solve Have dynamic conversations with customers, articulate and quantify our value proposition while illustrating a path forward for a successful partnership Willingness and curiosity to become an expert on all our core systems, products, and services Report any customized and/or technical customer specifications that fall outside of our standard delivery model to Vice President, New Client Engagement & Implementation to ensure these requirements are identified in the sales process and delivered in the customer’s Implementation Phase Partner closely with the Implementation team to ensure all client needs are expedited and resolved Share trends in customer feedback and market demands with Vice President, New Client Engagement & Implementation as well as our Product Development Team Maintain positive and professional relationships between all internal teams to ensure consistent communication regarding your new client’s status and expectations Performs additional responsibilities as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and the organization Serve as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle of HR technology applications, delivering solution configuration guidance, project support, user training, and ongoing consultation to drive successful outcomes and maximize platform utilization. AI Utilization and Literacy: A key function of this role includes the effective use and understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies to enhance productivity, decision-making, and overall performance. This position is expected to maintain awareness of emerging AI applications relevant to their responsibilities, apply AI tools ethically and effectively, and continuously develop their AI proficiency. What You Bring: Industry Understanding & Experience: Knowledge and experience working with clients and/or customers in the PEO, HR Outsourcing or Payroll industries is preferred, but not required. Four to five years of sales or sales engineering experience in a business-to-business environment is highly preferred Experience facilitating comprehensive customer demonstrations and delivering complex information in an easy-to-understand fashion The Solutions Consultant will need to be comfortable discussing challenges and needs with C-Level executives at the customer level Experience in working with customers of all levels, and dynamic interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn, and become a 'power user' of our internal and client-facing systems - a high level of curiosity will be critical for this role Professional stature with self-confidence to lead and engage Strong project management skills with the ability to set and hold to critical deadlines Proficient using SalesForce and the Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams Experience managing cases within a ticketing or case management system, with a strong understanding of SLA metrics Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Commitment to excellence and high standards What We Offer: Position Salary: 90k-115k Effective 06/1/2025 NJ passed a Pay Transparency Law which requires NJ based hiring to include a compensation range on each job posting.
