Inventory & Supply Chain Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Customer Fulfillment — 50% time spent
1. Review customer orders and prioritize fulfillment activities in SAP, including reviewing incoming orders entered by Customer Service and determining appropriate fulfillment actions based on inventory availability, order requirements, and priorities. Coordinate with internal teams to resolve order, customer, master-data, and other special-order issues.
2. Print delivery and production-related documents for the assembly team for order fulfillment.
3. Adjust deliveries and customer order details when necessary to reflect inventory availability and backorders.
4. Provide Support to shipping and assembly activities during absences or increased workload

Inventory & Material Management — 30% time spent
5. Maintain and update material master data and product information in SAP, including product descriptions, BIN locations, and other inventory-related information.
6. Create new part numbers and product records in SAP, including product descriptions, pricing, classifications, and related information.
7. Monitor inventory levels, review inventory reports, and investigate shortages or discrepancies.
8. Perform inventory movements, stock transfers, material adjustments, and other inventory transactions in SAP
9. Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and review component availability to support fulfillment and inventory requirements.

Purchasing & Supply Chain Support — 20% time spent
10. Execute material planning and replenishment activities based on inventory requirements and demand.
11. Review MRP recommendations and create purchase orders as required.
12. Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers regarding material availability, purchase orders, delivery dates and outstanding issues.
13. Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers regarding order status, delivery dates, and outstanding issues.
14. Receive purchased materials into inventory and complete related receiving transactions in SAP.
15. Support special-order and stock-replenishment programs.

Laser Engraving / Specialized Fulfillment
The position may also perform laser engraving and related order-specific production activities, including working with the required artwork/files and operating the applicable equipment.
