This is a full time position with opportunity for hybrid work after successful completion of 8-12weeks training in office. WORKERS COMP AND EXPERIENCE WITH PEER REVIEWS, LIABILITY MEDICAL ANALYSIS, AND DESIGNATED DOCTORS EXAMS REQUIRED. As a Medical Peer Review Coordinator, you will play a vital role in processing referrals within our system for Peer Reviews, Required Medical Exams, Designated Doctors Exams, Retrospective Utilization Reviews, and Liability Medical Analysis. Your responsibilities include collecting essential clinical data to support these requests while ensuring all required DWC forms are completed in accordance with established DWC rules, timelines, and manuals. Additionally, you will provide superior customer service to our clients, embodying our core values of integrity and empathy in every interaction.

An intermediate-advanced skill level in computer literacy is essential, ensuring a high degree of accuracy in all tasks, complemented by the ability to type at 50 words per minute or more. Previous experience in medical peer reviews, liability medical analysis, required medical exams, and designated doctors exams is highly valued.

To excel as a Medical Peer Review Coordinator, candidates must possess a robust understanding of medical terminology, including proficiency with ICD-10 and CPT coding. A solid understanding of workers' compensation and Texas law is crucial for navigating complex healthcare processes effectively. Additionally, excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary to foster strong client relationships and provide superior customer service. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Experience with medical peer reviews, liability medical analysis. required medical exams, and designated doctors exams REQUIRED
