Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / Progressive Care (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac stepdown / progressive care unit setting
• Maintain safe patient assignments in accordance with unit ratios (night shift 1:5 to 1:6)
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac stepdown / progressive care experience required
• Active Illinois RN license at time of submission required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
• Current ACLS certification through AHA or ARC required
• Valid driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active Iowa RN license preferred
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred
• Completed skills checklist specific to stepdown / progressive care preferred
