Associate Water Law Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a litigation associate with 7-10 years of experience in water law and/or environmental law to join their team in SanFrancisco. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting pleadings, briefs, and motions in both state and federal courts. Duties Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions for state and federal court cases. Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions. Argue motions effectively in court. Manage multiple, time-sensitive projects efficiently and collaboratively. Take ownership of significant projects and work well within a team. Requirements Admitted to the State Bar of California. 7‑10 years of experience in water law and/or environmental law. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications State Bar of California admission. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills.
