Shift Details: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, 5 shifts per week, 40 scheduled hours.

Job Description: Position/Specialty: STERILE TECH. Years of experience required: Minimum 3 years. Shifts: 07:00-17:00. Days of the week: Various days of week floating. Locations will vary dependent on shift needs of all 3 departments. Weekends required: Yes, rotating on weekends and holidays. National Certs required: CRCST/HSPA OR EQUIVALENT, AHA BLS. Special requirements: Endo Reprocessing Experience. Is on-call required? No. Local Rate (75 miles): $48.

This is an outpatient surgery center. We in SPD service not only the OR but also do Endo reprocessing as well. Needs to have a diverse variety of surgical instrumentation and devices i.e. robotics, vascular, trauma, neuro, m.i.s., specialty, etc. All contract workers will be utilized to help with reprocessing surgical instrument volume while current full time staff train a number of new full time employees. The reprocessing will be a team effort. I would prefer workers with strong experience in self engagement/team effort settings.

Patient Ratios: Days: 13, Nights: 6, Weekends: 6. Float required: No. Call required: No. Weekend coverage: Rotating on weekends and holidays.

Certifications: CSPDT, IAHCSMM/HSPA, Certified as a CSPDT (Sterile Processing and Distribution), HS diploma.
