Billing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions | Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid) Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 LHH is partnering with a reputable Twin Cities organization to hire a Billing Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position is ideal for someone with prior billing experience, particularly within a law firm environment. Candidates with accounting, accounts receivable, or administrative experience from a legal setting who are interested in growing their billing career are also encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and process client invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate with attorneys, legal staff, and internal departments to ensure billing accuracy. Review billing documentation, expense reports, and supporting materials. Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries regarding invoices. Maintain billing records and ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements. Assist with accounts receivable activities and payment tracking as needed. Generate billing reports and provide support for month-end processes. Support administrative and accounting functions related to billing operations. Qualifications Previous billing experience preferred. Law firm billing experience highly desired. Open to candidates with accounting, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or administrative experience within a legal environment looking to transition into a billing role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and billing/accounting software. Strong communication and customer service skills.
