Position Summary As a Logistics Human Resources Manager you will design and execute HR strategies for a dedicated area, ensuring the achievement of facility and business goals while maintaining high levels of workforce competence and compliance. Key Responsibilities Communicate with customers, suppliers, associates, and managers verbally and in writing to share information, resolve issues, and drive alignment. Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by setting goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring employees complete required training. Supervise daily administrative functions of the HR office, including benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, and payroll, while refining recruiting and staffing initiatives. Address employment‑related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers; maintain compliance with company HR policies and confidentiality standards. Support HR systems applications, ensure data accuracy, and gather data for HR‑related issues. Maintain quality and safety standards, train associates on logistics and company policies, and monitor compliance with procedures and documentation. Identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns; listen, consult, determine corrective actions, and recommend solutions. Develop and coach associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; model logistics and company policies and procedures. Manage and coordinate training (new‑hire orientation, CBL modules, web‑based training, virtual classroom) for distribution and transportation associates, ensuring completion deadlines and compliance. Build relationships with key stakeholders to support plans and initiatives, set goals and objectives, and measure progress toward results. Drive continuous improvement, identify opportunities, and promote a culture of belonging and belonging mindset in the workplace. Support company policies, ethics, and integrity; implement action plans, utilize the Open Door Policy, and guide business processes and practices. Attract, develop, and retain talent while demonstrating fairness, transparency, and humility. Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying business models, and making data‑driven decisions that balance short‑ and long‑term priorities. Strive for excellence by learning, taking calculated risks, adopting new technologies, and supporting others through change. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field; OR 2 years of Walmart Logistics management experience; OR 2 years of supervisory experience, including 1 year managing human resource processes; OR 1 year of Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience. Successful completion of all required job trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Fluency in a language other than English (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) as applicable to business and customer needs. Experience in Human Resources, Microsoft Office, Supervising Associates, Training and Facilitation, and Walmart Logistics Systems. Professional HR certifications (PHR, SPHR) or equivalent.
