Inventory Control CoordinatorThe Coordinator/Expeditor is responsible for addressing material shortages in the shop, communication with the team, and ensuring accurate and timely material flows. Your Responsibilities Will Be:Generate reports and review on hand material status, actioning each item dailyMake recommendations for inventory adjustments.Make recommendations for stock items and/or material status changePrioritize materials for orders and communicate status to the teamDistributes daily/weekly reports to ensure inventory accuracyAssists Supervisor with maintaining transactional system integrityHelps problem solve Receiving, Shipping, or Material Availability issuesInvestigate inventory inaccuracies and WIP transactions for validityGenerates reports or documents in support of Shipping, Receiving and InventoryMaintains documents per the company record retention policyProcess material and due date changes to released work orders as neededAssists with LEAN initiatives (kanban, process improvement)For This Role, You Will Need:High School diploma or GED, or, 3 years relevant work experienceExperience with inventory transactions in a production environment. Able to lift parts weighing in excess of 50 pounds (assistance when needed) and to work in bending, squatting and standing positions (includes working off ladders) for long periods of time (in excess of one hour)Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:Previous experience with an operating system such as Oracle, SAP, AS400, JDEdwards, etcProficient with Microsoft Excel: creating formulas, pivot tables and lookupsPass forklift certifications and requirements to operate forklifts
