Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating both Reach Forklifts and Cherry Pickers, along with a strong background in inventory management, cycle counting, receiving, and warehouse operations.

This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates must be able to perform inventory duties while operating warehouse equipment and using warehouse management systems (WMS).

IMPORTANT: Previous experience operating BOTH a Reach Forklift and Cherry Picker is REQUIRED. Candidates must be comfortable operating both types of equipment as part of their daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate Reach Forklifts and Cherry Pickers to retrieve, move, store, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect products for accuracy.
• Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory, process transactions, and update stock locations.
• Perform order picking, put-away, and outbound inventory processing.
• Process customer returns, inspect returned merchandise, and update inventory records accordingly.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movement, confirm product locations, and complete warehouse transactions.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Assist with shipping and receiving operations to ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Maintain organized inventory locations and follow proper warehouse safety procedures.
• Use basic computer programs, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook, for inventory tracking, reporting, and communication.

Requirements & Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Previous hands-on experience operating BOTH Reach Forklifts and Cherry Pickers.
• Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse inventory management.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Proficiency using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Experience with receiving, order picking, put-away, outbound shipments, and returns processing.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow warehouse safety procedures and properly operate material-handling equipment.

Additional Information

This is a hands-on warehouse inventory position, not solely a forklift operator or office-based inventory role. Candidates must be comfortable performing inventory control duties, operating both required forklifts, and assisting with general warehouse operations as needed.
