Job Overview:
This contingent role involves consulting on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning. The position requires addressing multi-faceted challenges, collaborating strategically with client personnel, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The focus is on deploying and operationalizing Data Science, Generative AI, and Predictive AI solutions into production environments using modern cloud and container platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact.
• Analyze and resolve multi-faceted challenges requiring in-depth evaluation.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to meet deliverables.
• Integrate Data Science and AI solutions into enterprise applications.
• Deploy and operationalize AI solutions using cloud and container platforms.
• Ensure compliance with function policies, procedures, and governance requirements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, or education.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, or AI/ML engineering.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience deploying and operationalizing Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Predictive AI solutions.
• Proficiency in building enterprise applications and APIs.
• Experience with cloud-based environments and containerized deployment platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.

Core Technical Skills:

• Programming & Application Development: Python, Git, FastAPI, REST APIs, JSON, Pydantic, C#/.NET application integration.
• AI & Data Science Enablement: Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, LangChain/LangGraph, Generative AI solutions, Predictive AI/ML solutions, model deployment, embeddings, vector search, RAG patterns.
• Data Engineering: SQL, Oracle, ETL/ELT, Spark/PySpark, data modeling, data pipeline development.
• Data Platforms: Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Data Warehouse/Lakehouse concepts.
• Pipeline Orchestration: Azure Data Factory, Airflow, or equivalent platforms.
• Cloud & Container Platforms: Azure, Docker, OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
• Monitoring & Operations: Logging, monitoring, alerting, Application Insights, production support.
• Security & Governance: Key Vault, OAuth, secrets management, PII/data governance.
• Analytics & Reporting: Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting HR, HRIT, Workforce Analytics, or HR Data Science initiatives.
• Experience integrating Python-based Data Science solutions into enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting AI solutions in highly regulated environments.
• Nice to have: C#/.NET development, Flask, Django, React, Gradio, Databricks, Neo4j/Graph Databases, Semantic Kernel, MLflow, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Azure AI Search.

Pay Range: $65 - $75
