OK Tinker IAM 850 - Tinker AFB, OK 73145 US (Primary) Category Installation Maintenance and Repair Job Type Full-time Typical Pay/Range $31.67 per hour Education High School Diploma or GED Travel None Security Clearance Required None POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an Equipment Operator supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Equipment Operator operates sweepers, backhoes, loaders, bulldozers, grader, dump trucks, rollers, skid-steer loaders and tractor trailers as part of a crew performing maintenance. Performs flexible and rigid pavement preservation on streets, parking lots and airfield; removes damaged pavement, place and compact hot/cold mix asphalts, place and finish concrete, route/seal cracks and joints. Performs wintertime snow and ice removal by utilizing snow removal equipment, plowing and chemical application. Performs debris removal, erosion control, floodgate, bridge, and culvert maintenance. Performs maintenance, installation and repair of permanent and temporary signage. Performs installation, repairs and maintains all chain link fencing. Adheres to proper security practices, foreign object damage procedures, and airfield driving regulations, as applicable. Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback, as applicable.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience in operating large equipment preferred. Valid state driver's license, acceptable driving record and proof of valid insurance. Valid Class A CDL. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a construction or road maintenance environment and snow removal. Maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications. Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to adapt to changes in technology and applicable facility/infrastructure codes and standards. Familiarity with facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable. Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diverse situations. Proficiency and knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools. Demonstrated working ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be available to work other shifts as directed, to include weekends and holidays. Pursuant to Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Four (4) years' experience in a construction or road maintenance environment and snow removal. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Military experience. Previous experience working on a military installation. Experience working on Tinker facilities.
