The Informational Technology Division is seeking candidates to fill the role of Senior Program Specialist within the FACES Systems Unit to assist with the CCWIS Project . Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay). Annual Salary: $64,852.56 Work Hours: The work hours for this position are 8:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday. Job Location: The base location for this position is negotiable. The Department of Social Services – Children’s Division cares for at-risk children and families by providing family preservation and reunification services, investigating allegations of abuse and neglect, and conducting foster care and adoption case management. The Senior Program Specialist will also supervise the work of the CCWIS data team to include: data analysis and cleanup, governance, migration, reporting, and information exchanges with other systems. This position will serve as the primary coordinator of the CCWIS Request for Proposals (RFP). This includes writing requirements, assessing requirements written or identified by the CCWIS team for inclusion, and ensuring that review timeframes are met. In addition, this position will ensure that any business requirements per CCWIS contracts are being met. In addition to working with the project team, these positions will be working with Children’s Division program staff, internal/external stakeholders, and FACES Help Desk staff. Other duties that may be assigned include but are not limited to: Participation in Professional Development/Leadership trainings as identified to support the CCWIS project; Conduct research and analysis of other state documents as requested (Data Quality Plans, new system implementation documents, procurement documents); Develop and maintain expertise in new CCWIS Data Quality regulations and technical bulletins. Develop and monitor work plans and control documents; Participate in pre/post development activities including business discovery, act as Subject Matter Expert (SME); participate in development/system/user acceptance testing, system implementation and staff training; Participate in identified CCWIS and Organizational Change Management (OCM) team meetings as needed to assist with improving the Children’s Division practice for services provided to children and families; Identify training needs currently and with new system as part of OCM process, to provide consultation and training with field management and executive staff as needed; Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
