Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities to determine their therapy needs.
  
  
• 
  Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting specific functional goals.
  
  
• 
  Assist patients in improving fine motor, sensory processing, and cognitive skills through targeted exercises and activities.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress, update treatment plans, and communicate outcomes to healthcare teams.
  
  
• 
  Utilize appropriate therapeutic techniques, including splint fabrication for post-operative and injury cases.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate records in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license issued by the state.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of five (5) years of outpatient hand therapy experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in splint fabrication, especially for orthopedic upper extremity cases.
  
  
• 
  Experienced in treating diverse diagnoses, including post-operative, acute injuries, and chronic conditions.
  
  
• 
  Strong ability to develop and adjust treatment plans for patients of all ages.
  
  
• 
  Certification in CPR/AED (AHA or ARC) required.
