This role sits on the Resilio team within Nasuni, supporting customers with high-performance, distributed data workflows across hybrid and edge environments.We are hiring a Solution Engineer to drive technical success across the pre-sales cycle—owning product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical validation for customers evaluating Resilio-powered solutions.This role is ideal for someone who:Thrives in customer-facing technical environmentsCan translate complex infrastructure into clear business valueEnjoys hands-on deployment, troubleshooting, and solution designThis role is not for candidates who prefer purely internal or support-only roles without direct customer engagement.Level & Scope DefinitionOwns the technical win in the sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise opportunitiesOperates independently across multiple deals with moderate complexityLeads POCs, demos, and deployment validation with customersPartners closely with Sales, Product, and Customer SuccessProvides solution-level guidance, not product roadmap ownershipFocus is execution with influence, not strategic territory ownershipResponsibilitiesLead technical discovery conversations to understand customer data architecture, workflows, and constraintsDesign and deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) using Resilio technologyGuide customers through installation, configuration, and deployment in hybrid and cloud environmentsAdvise on best practices for:Distributed data synchronizationNetwork and storage architecturePerformance optimization and scalabilityPartner with Account Executives to progress deals and remove technical blockersCollaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to post-salesUse scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and automation tools to accelerate deployments and troubleshootingApply AI-assisted tools (where appropriate) to improve demo preparation, troubleshooting efficiency, and customer insightsRepresent Nasuni and the Resilio platform at customer meetings, events, and technical workshopsContribute to technical documentation, enablement content, and reusable demo assetsQualificationsMust-Have Qualifications7–9+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or customer-facing technical rolesHands-on experience deploying and supporting distributed systems, storage, or data infrastructure solutionsStrong knowledge of:Networking fundamentals (VPNs, subnets, firewalls)Storage systems and performance considerationsExperience with Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (Azure preferred)Ability to independently run technical demos, POCs, and customer deploymentsExperience using scripting (e.g., PowerShell, CLI tools) for troubleshooting or automationStrong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience with data replication, synchronization, or edge data technologiesFamiliarity with Azure infrastructure and automation servicesExperience supporting enterprise or mid-market customers in pre-sales cyclesExposure to AI-assisted tools for workflow efficiency (e.g., automation, diagnostics, or content generation)Ideal QualificationsExperience in high-performance data transfer or real-time data orchestration platformsBackground in hybrid cloud or edge computing architecturesProven track record influencing technical wins in complex sales cyclesExperience creating reusable demo environments or automation frameworksExperience Guidelines7–9+ years total experience in technical roles3–5+ years in customer-facing (Sales Engineering or similar) rolesDemonstrated experience working across multiple concurrent customer engagementsWhat is Nasuni?About NasuniNasuni delivers the world’s best NAS solution, built for the cloud, ready for AI.
