Night Pallet Laborer
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable night pallet laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely loading and unloading of materials and products in a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for material handling.
- Build pallets and organize products for efficient storage and transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Load, unload, and stack pallets manually or with equipment.
- Inspect pallets for damage and repair or recycle as needed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble, disassemble or refurbish pallets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in inventory management and quality control.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards related to warehouse operations.
- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
