McAllister Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for their Hamburg, NY location. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse operations with a strong emphasis on meticulous inventory control, job ownership, detailed data entry, and thorough preparation to ensure seamless support for coworkers. This role ensures the parts room, inventory storage, and loading dock areas operate efficiently and effectively. The supervisor actively collaborates with suppliers and the Rochester location to maintain emergency stock availability within acceptable timeframes. By fostering clear communication between parts, warehouse, delivery, and installation teams (both commercial and residential), the Warehouse Supervisor ensures all supplies and equipment are accurately prepared in advance to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of warehouse operations, ensuring precise inventory control, accurate data entry, and thorough preparation of materials to support coworkers in meeting project deadlines
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust warehouse safety, security, and inventory management procedures, prioritizing accuracy and organization
• Collaborate closely with field management to ensure all parts, materials, and equipment are pulled correctly the first time, minimizing delays and maintaining budget adherence
• Proactively order equipment for field personnel, ensuring timely delivery and readiness before job commencement
• Meticulously process inventory sheets for installation jobs, verifying accuracy and completeness to support operational efficiency
• Dispatch parts runners with clear instructions to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, conducting regular inspections to uphold standards
• Oversee inventory accuracy through detailed data entry and assist in conducting physical inventories with a focus on precision
• Train, coach, and mentor warehouse personnel to foster a culture of accountability, thoroughness, and excellence in inventory management and data accuracy
• Ensure real-time, accurate data entry in company software to provide up-to-date reports on inventory use, age, and cost, enabling informed decision-making
• Partner with all departments to exceed customer service expectations through proactive preparation and communication
• Attend branch and safety meetings, contributing insights into inventory and operational improvements
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the General or Operations Manager, maintaining a high level of ownership and thoroughness

Job Qualifications:

• 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in warehouse, inventory control, or logistics, with a proven track record of job ownership and thoroughness
• 3–5 years of warehouse or related experience, demonstrating expertise in inventory management and detailed data entry
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution in a related field or equivalent combination of education and successful experience is preferred
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable DMV record required
• Proficiency in real-time, accurate data entry within databases and spreadsheets, ensuring precision in inventory tracking and reporting
• Proficiency with warehouse inventory management and advanced computer skills (ServiceTitan, ERP Systems preferred)

The starting base salary range for this position is $65,000-70,000. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
