Marketing Manager

Job Description Job Description Role: To improve the Credit Union's competitive position, consistent with its mission, within the markets served; assist in development of objectives for marketing activities of the Credit Union; plan, direct, and coordinate the efforts of marketing toward the accomplishment of overall objectives; supply advice and assistance to the Senior Vice President and other operating units within the organization. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 35% Assists in the development of all advertising and sales promotions. Collaborate with design firm to curate, manage, and implement multi-channel campaigns, including print, email, and text message marketing. 25% Coordinates special events; monitors planning, schedules and implementation as required for proper execution of each event. Coordinates the annual meeting, including production of reports, facilities, and meeting logistics. 10% Coordinates and deploys quarterly newsletter(s) to membership. Coordinate with internal parties to create quality content related to the member audience. 10% Create and manage internal collateral for retail centers for sales promotions and overall financial education for members. 10% Maintains daily marketing communications and updates. 5% Provides monthly marketing report to Board of Directors. 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned. Performance Measurements: To work with marketing teams in supporting budget efficiency and overall maximization of resources. To maintain on-time completion of campaigns and projects with adherence to marketing calendars and schedules. To provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates. To work with Marketing and Business Development Team in supporting public relations, business and community involvement efforts and deliver planned results within PR/Community relations budget. To deliver planned results to meet the credit union's growth objective with respect to brand awareness, membership acquisition and retention. Knowledge and Skills: Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education:(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory requirements is a plus. Other Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns. Ability to develop long-term marketing strategies that align with the credit union's goals. Strong organizational skills. Ability to effectively communicate with team members. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling messages and content. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
