Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse – Neurosurgery

Shift: 3x12.0 - Straight Nights Weekends, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 17 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Requirements:

• RN License (New York ONLY)
• Two (2) Years Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Telemetry Experience Required
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Highly desired
• NIHSS Required
• Stepdown/PCU Experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for neurosurgical patients with various conditions.
• Monitor patients' neurological status and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including cardiac drips and EVDs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Perform neuro checks and maintain accurate documentation of patients' progress.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
