Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this contract position, you'll provide support and therapy services to students aged 18 months to 6 years, working with a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students. The assignment runs from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering a full academic year to help students reach important developmental milestones.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Licensure to practice as an SLP in New Mexico (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong new graduates eager to work with early childhood populations are welcome
• Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students ages 18 months to 6 years with a range of communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student supports
• Offer consultation and training to school staff and caregivers to generalize therapy goals
• Support a positive and encouraging learning environment for young children
