Must-Have: A minimum of 5 years of experience

Description: Licensed for 457 beds. Level 3 Trauma Center. Stroke Center of Excellence. Bariatric Center of Excellence. Chest Pain Center. Must reside 50 miles outside of the home unit. Operating room department with 19 OR suites. Average of 50 cases per day. Surgery specialties include Trauma, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic total joints, spine, cardiovascular, vascular, gynecological, gynecological oncology, robotics, general surgery, hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, bariatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, pain management, and plastics. Experience required to circulate in various surgical cases. Charge RN experience and scrubbing proficiency required for night shift contracts. Ability to perform laparoscopic and open abdominal cases is preferred. Flexible, self-driven, and motivated team player needed. Must be accommodating to case requests. Support from clinical supervisors, charge nurses, educators, and unit secretaries available. Utilizes electronic medical record system. Call required, averaging 6 call shifts per 6-week schedule with a 45-minute response time. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays. Schedule cycles every 6 weeks, with various shift times based on needs. Scrub color is provided. Department culture values teamwork and collaboration.
