Patient Care Coordinator

*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused *Customer Service & Order Processing Specialist* to join a collaborative and supportive team environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys helping others, and can effectively manage multiple tasks.
This is a *contract-to-hire opportunity* with the potential for long-term growth and excellent benefits upon direct hire.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Handle approximately *30 inbound calls* and *40-50 outbound calls daily* (primarily related to order processing)
* Assist with occasional *walk-in customers* and perform basic DME order entry
* Navigate multiple *EMR systems* to obtain and verify required documentation
* Accurately enter and review patient and order information, including *authorizations and expiration dates*
* *Communicate regularly with Customer Service and Management regarding insurance trends or issues*
* *Verify insurance carriers in the system and request additions as needed*
* *Contact patients when documentation does not meet payer guidelines and provide updates or alternative solutions*
* *Respond to patient calls and emails in a timely manner*
* *Document all interactions according to established procedures*
* *Process, verify, and submit documentation and orders accurately*
* *Meet quality assurance standards and key performance metrics*
* *Assist with resolving customer concerns and providing effective solutions*
* *Utilize internal tools such as authorization guidelines, insurance resources, fee schedules, NPI, PECOS, and training materials*

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
