Our client, a leading organization in the research and innovation sector, is seeking a Desktop Technician III to join their team. As a Desktop Technician III, you will be part of the IT Support team supporting the Clark, NJ location. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Provide face-to-face technical support at the IT Kiosk, ensuring a welcoming experience for all employees.
  • Configure, image, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and conference room AV equipment.
  • Install and support standard software applications such as Windows 11, Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory and Office 365.
  • Support network connectivity, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring security and compliance standards are met.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3-5 years of proven desktop support experience.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Windows 11 and Mac OS environments.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Strong understanding of basic networking, endpoint security, and troubleshooting LAN/Wi-Fi issues.
