Accepting 8/10 starts only. This is an ICU float pool position that will float down to MS/Tele/PCU/overflow units when needed. Will also float to Overflow PACU and other MS/Tele/PCU, Stepdown.

EKG assessment will be given first day of orientation - passing score required to move forward with contract.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years if ICU exp
• CA RN License
• Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• First time travelers accepted: YES
• Must have 400 bed or larger facility exp
• Special Requirements: PA LINE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE - WILL BE ASSESSED DURING PHONE INTERVIEW AND ADDITIONAL CHECKLIST. Large hospital exp required.

Compliance:

• Modules: Modules are billable and non-billable, 10-40 hours
• Billable: the first 17 hours or HealthStream Modules are billable
• Non-billable: any time spent on modules after first 17 hours in non-billable
• Modules are completed pre-start and during orientation if not completed pre-start, and vary by specialty
• Modules are self-reported on module timecard

Submittal Details:

• Licensure: Temp/Pending licenses not accepted. Valid perm California license must be in hand at time of submission. Locals accepted at same rate. No radius rule.
• References: 2 references from within the past 1 year of employment are required at the time of submission. Must be supervisor or higher - No Charge RN. Hard Stop.
• Return Staff Policy: Previous perm employees must be separated for 24 months before they are eligible for travel positions at all Cedars-Sinai facilities (including Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Cedars Marina Del Rey), with the exception of CSMN, which requires a 12 month separation. All past Cedars employment (travel, staff, etc.) MUST be included on profile. This includes Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cedars Marina Del Rey, Torrance Memorial, Cedars-Sinai Medical Network (CSMN), Huntington Health Physicians (HHP) and Huntington Hospital.
• Scheduling Requests: None allowed. Traveler should be flexible.
• Background Policy: Any license or background hit requires a detailed written statement from the traveler. License/background hits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any license or background hits that are open and/or pending are an automatic redirect. All hits must be completely closed.
• RTO Rules: Max RTO: 2 weeks total. No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
