Role Description Day-to-day responsibilities include conforming and preparing legal documents, organizing case files, conducting legal and factual research, and reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness. The role will also involve communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, managing deadlines, and assisting with discovery, trial preparation, and hearing-related tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Covington, LA, requiring consistent collaboration with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management and excellent client service. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law with experience supporting family law, personal injury, or civil litigation matters. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence. Effective Communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, courts, and other parties in a professional manner. Solid Research skills, including legal research using case law, statutes, and rules, and factual investigation relevant to ongoing cases. Paralegal certificate or equivalent education; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with legal case management software and standard office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PDF tools). Prior law firm or in-house legal experience, particularly in Louisiana practice, is highly beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
