Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking an Executive Sourcer, Technology This role focuses on executive-level technology searches, partnering closely with Principal Executive Recruiters and hiring leaders to identify, engage, and develop pipelines of top technology leadership talent. The ideal candidate combines executive search expertise, deep technology market knowledge, and advanced sourcing capabilities to build diverse, high-quality candidate slates for critical leadership positions.

Location: 100% Remote

Responsibilities

• Partner with Principal Executive Recruiters and hiring leaders to understand business objectives, leadership needs, and executive search requirements.

• Develop targeted sourcing strategies, including target companies, industries, leadership profiles, and talent markets.

• Conduct executive research, organizational mapping, competitor analysis, and talent market intelligence activities.

• Build and maintain diverse executive talent pipelines for technology leadership positions.

• Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with VP-level and senior technology leaders.

• Present candidate research and profiles for calibration and adjust search strategies based on feedback.

• Conduct personalized outreach to executive candidates, effectively communicating leadership opportunities and business impact.

• Evaluate candidate interest, qualifications, and alignment with position requirements prior to recruiter handoff.

• Provide executive recruiters with detailed candidate profiles, research findings, outreach history, and market intelligence.

• Deliver insights regarding talent availability, competitive landscapes, organizational structures, and market trends.

• Maintain accurate pipeline, research, outreach, and candidate activity records within recruiting systems and tools.

• Monitor sourcing metrics, pipeline strength, response rates, and search progress to proactively address risks.

• Champion inclusive sourcing strategies and diversity-focused recruiting practices.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of executive search methodologies, sourcing tools, and market intelligence practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 7-10 years of talent acquisition, executive search, executive sourcing, or executive research experience.

• Experience supporting executive-level and senior technology leadership searches.

• Proven ability to identify, engage, and attract VP-level and executive technology talent.

• Strong understanding of technology organizations, leadership structures, talent markets, and competitive landscapes.

• Experience conducting organizational mapping, market intelligence, and competitor research.

• Expertise in Boolean search techniques, executive sourcing methodologies, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM platforms, and applicant tracking systems.

• Strong executive candidate engagement, relationship-building, networking, and outreach skills.

• Ability to translate research and market intelligence into actionable recommendations.

• Strong judgment and ability to calibrate executive candidates against leadership and business requirements.

• Ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive audiences.

• Ability to work independently with a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.

The base range for this contract position is$38.00 -$50.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all U.S. locations. Individual compensation is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
