Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Temporary Talent Sourcer to support hiring initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing and skilled trades environment. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates for critical production, fabrication, and technical positions.

The ideal candidate has experience sourcing skilled trades talent and understands the unique challenges of recruiting for manufacturing operations. This individual will partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to develop talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and engage qualified candidates for hourly and salaried manufacturing positions, including welders, fitters, fabricators, machinists, CNC operators, maintenance technicians, quality inspectors, planners, estimators, and production leadership roles.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, referrals, trade schools, workforce development programs, and community partnerships.
• Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening conversations to assess qualifications, work history, availability, and interest.
• Build and maintain active talent pipelines for high-volume and hard-to-fill skilled trades positions.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and hiring priorities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Support recruitment events, job fairs, apprenticeship programs, and trade school recruiting initiatives.
• Research local labor markets and identify new sourcing channels to attract qualified talent.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely and professional communication.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline activity, sourcing metrics, and candidate market insights.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of recruiting, sourcing, staffing, or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, CareerBuilder, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting or sourcing within manufacturing, fabrication, industrial construction, shipbuilding, aerospace, defense, or other skilled trades environments.
• Knowledge of skilled trades occupations, certifications, apprenticeships, and workforce development programs.
• Experience supporting high-volume recruitment efforts for production and craft labor positions.
• Familiarity with recruiting in a federal contractor environment.
