We’re hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Associate to join our day shift team in a cold food production facility on the east side of Indianapolis. Location:  East Side of Indianapolis
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Work Environment: Cold food production facility (30&degree;F)

Job Summary:

As a QA Associate, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all food products meet company and regulatory standards for safety, quality, and consistency. You’ll work closely with production teams to monitor processes, inspect materials, and document results to maintain the highest level of product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods

• Verify products meet company and FDA/USDA standards

• Accurately document inspection results and communicate any non-conformances

• Monitor production areas to ensure adherence to GMP and food safety policies

• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist with calibration and maintenance of testing equipment

• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to ensure compliance and consistency

What You’ll Need:

• 1 year of experience in food production or quality assurance (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a cold environment (30&degree;F) for extended periods

• Dependability and a strong attendance record

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout your shift

• Basic computer and documentation skills
