Our client is an established nationwide supplier of industrial, safety, material handling, and operational products. They support businesses across manufacturing, warehousing, food processing, sanitation, maintenance, and other industrial environments.

They are hiring a Director of Inside Sales Operations to lead and improve the performance of its Inside Sales and Customer Service teams.

As the Director of Inside Sales Operations, you will report directly to executive leadership and oversee both the Inside Sales and Customer Service teams. In this role, you will help bring more structure, consistency, and accountability to the department.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, improving day-to-day processes, and using data to make smart decisions. The right person will be comfortable stepping into a visible role where they can support the team, improve communication, and help create a more efficient and customer-focused operation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in inside sales, sales operations, customer service, commercial operations, or a related function
• Experience leading customer-facing teams in a B2B environment
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and manager development skills
• Comfortable using metrics and reporting to guide decisions
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and customers
• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, procurement, IT, or similar teams
• Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable leading through change
• Experience in distribution, wholesale, industrial supply, manufacturing, or a similar B2B environment preferred
• HubSpot or CRM experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be able to work full-time in office in the Kansas City area
