Join the team at Staybridge Suites Kansas City–Independence and help drive the success of one of the area's premier extended-stay hotels.

MH Hospitality is seeking an experienced, motivated, and relationship-driven Hotel Director of Sales to lead revenue growth through strategic business development, community engagement, and exceptional client service.

This is a hands-on sales leadership role for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and making a measurable impact on hotel performance. You'll work closely with the General Manager and hotel leadership team to grow occupancy, increase revenue, and strengthen our presence throughout the Kansas City market.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Prospect and secure new corporate, government, group, and extended-stay business.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, local businesses, and community organizations.
• Spend approximately 80% of your time outside the hotel conducting sales calls, networking, attending community events, and meeting with prospective clients.
• Conduct hotel tours, presentations, and client meetings.
• Negotiate room rates and contracts within company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, account information, and revenue forecasts.
• Participate in revenue management meetings and collaborate on sales and marketing initiatives.
• Represent Staybridge Suites professionally within the local community.

What We're Looking For

• Previous hotel sales experience preferred.
• Experience with corporate, group, or extended-stay sales is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to generate new business and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with hotel leadership.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required for networking events and business needs.
• Local travel for sales calls and community events.
