Supply Chain Specialist

Supply Chain Specialist wanted by Sinomax East, Inc. in La Vergne, TN to ensure the performance of the supply chain from sourcing, order to shipment delivery, including vendor defect claim and vendor management. Develop and maintain demand and supply forecasting models to support short-, mid-, and long-term production and material planning. Analyze historical production, consumption, and sales trends to improve forecast accuracy and reduce material volatility. Lead inventory optimization initiatives by establishing statistically driven safety stock methodologies and inventory turn targets. Perform scenario modeling to assess the impact of demand changes, capacity constraints, and supplier disruptions. Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles by preparing capacity, utilization, and inventory readiness reports for leadership. Design and automate executive dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and Excel-VBA to support strategic decision-making. Govern planning master data and establish data integrity standards within SAP/ERP to support MRP and forecast accuracy. Develop time-phased, just-in-time (JIT) material supply strategies in collaboration with Operations and Engineering. Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to planning processes, MRP effectiveness, and system utilization. Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks through structured risk assessments and contingency planning. Serve as a functional subject matter expert for planning systems and train operational teams on analytical tools and planning methodologies. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in quantitative or analytical discipline, such as Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Engineering and 36 months of experience in job offered or comparable supply chain analytics, planning, inventory optimization or production planning position. Work experience must include 1) advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools; 2) proven analytical, statistical, and problem-solving capabilities; 3) experience using Power BI, SQL, and Excel-VBA.
