Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception with Active Clearance in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will serve as the first point of contact, helping to create a welcoming environment while supporting security-related access control, visitor management, and communication. Pre-Employment Requirement: Active DoD Secret Clearance (C103)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor check-in and check-out activities, and supporting access control processes for a technology-focused location.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and observation.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Answer questions, give directions, and support employees, guests, and vendors with professional communication while documenting security-related events, visitor activity, and daily front desk reports.
• Assist with badge issuance, visitor logs, package handling procedures, and other security-related administrative tasks in alignment with site policies and client expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
