Job Title Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown Location Greensboro, NC Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation | No Call | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide high-level nursing care in a high-acuity PCU setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, including management of multiple long-term patients Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines Float to other campuses within the health system as needed Complete unit-based orientation modules and maintain compliance with all facility requirements Required Qualifications Active RN license in hand at time of submission Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome Experience working in a PCU setting with 1:5 patient ratios Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required EPIC EMR experience required Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) Valid driver's license required; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility No open background check cases permitted; third-party education verification required Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with peripheral line care and PICC line management Familiarity with titrating drips in a step-down or intermediate care environment Why Join Us Work in a high-functioning, fast-paced PCU environment that offers strong clinical development opportunities First-time travelers are welcome, making this an excellent opportunity to launch your travel nursing career Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 774740.
